After the update of the extension, all the changes, which I have made, disappeared! What should I do?

After the update of an extension all the changes, which you have made before, will disappear, because you download a new extension and Joomla! doesn't remember the changes. If you have modified an extension, changed the color of the font type, its style, changed some signs or icons, etc. then you should understand that all these changes will disappear after the update and, if you want to restore these, then you need to repeate the changes once again.

How can I get Google Maps API key?

In order to get Google Maps API key you need to visit: http://code.google.com/intl/en/apis/maps/signup.html, register and after that Google will provide you with API key for your Real Estate website. Fastw3b doesn't provide API keys and all the additional information you can find on http://code.google.com/intl/en/apis/maps/faq.html#keysystem

How to add path for PDF files storage folder?

In order to add a right path for PDF files and don't experience any problems with that you need to add a path starting with the root of the website. You can find it in this way: log in to the back-end >> Help >> System Info >> Directory Permissions >> go down to Cache Directory >> /home/*******/public_html/ - you copy this. Go to Components >> FW Real Estate >> Configuration >> Edit >> PDF files storage folder, insert /home/*******/public_html/ and then the pdf folder itself.

Step 1. Go to Install/Uninstall, click on Overview button and select FW Real Estate zip-file to upload.

Step 2. Click Overview button, find zip-file with the component and upload it. If everything works fine, then you will get a message "Install Component Success"

Step 3. Please check whether FW Real Estate is enabled.Go go Extensions >> Install/Uninstall >> section Components.

Step 4. To see it on front-end, you need to assign it to menu. Go to Main Menu and click New button.

Step 5. Find FW Real Estate and select Property Management to assign it to main menu. Type its title, check whether it is published. Do the same with Single property, Property listing and Agents plofiles management layouts.

Step 7. Let`s create your first property page! Go to Components >> FW Real Estate >> Properties

Step 8. Click New button to add your property and fill in Common information section. Note that fields marked with * are required!

Step 9. Go to Pictures section to add pictures for internal and external galleries as well as main picture!

Step 10. To upload a video or use your YouTube link, please install AllVideos Plugin first. Click on the link and save the file.

Step 11. Then go to Install/Uninstall, select this file and upload it. You will receive the following message if everything is OK:

Step 12. Do not forget to enable it! Go to Extensions >> Plugin Manager and click on checkmark.

Step 13. Now you can upload videos or use a remote one:

Step 14. Go to Brochure section if you want to upload a brochure. Note that your brochure must be pdf format only! Select your pdf file and click Save button!

Step 15. Go to Meta information section, if you want to add some meta tags for your property.

Step 16. Fulfill your agents profile with all the necessary information. Go to Components >> FW Real Estate >> Agents

Step 17. Select your profile and click button Edit. Fulfill the fields and save the changes.

Step 18. To change image sizes or Inquiry form options, please go to Config and click Change button.

Step 19. Make changes you need and click  Save! Please note that you need to re-upload all the images if you want them to be the new size! That's why we advise you to set sizes beforehand.
